I’m so stoked to have been able to take photos for these two beautiful ladies for yet another year! It really is amazing how much kids grow! This little girl was barely walking the last time we to fall photos and now I could barely keep up with her running! Amazing!
I love adventure! And apparently do some of my clients, because this beautiful family came to see me all the way from Pennsylvania! As they closed an almost weekend long vacation in Estes Park, CO, I had the great pleasure of meeting at Lily Lake! Though not through the official gate, Lily Lake sits on a smaller aspect of Rocky Mountain National Park and offers just the same gorgeous view that you would expect from the Colorado Rocky Mountains! We spent our time wandering the lake, telling jokes and stories, laughing at ducks diving for food, and enjoying the beautiful weather! It was so much fun getting to spend some time with this amazing family!
I have had the opportunity to photograph these two goofballs for the last 2 years now! It's so fun to see how much they grow up between our sessions! In fact that is, for the most part, the reason that mom brings them in each year, is to document how much they've changed. I think this is a brilliant idea and I wish more people would follow their example. Time goes by so quickly and so much seem to change about our kids almost from month to month! I can honestly say that even if the idea of taking a yearly photo seems cliche, you won't regret it when they go off to college and aren't around anymore.
As usual these two were full of energy, totally being brothers, and so passionate about their favorite sport teams! They definitely kept me running but we managed to capture some really fun photos!
it was an honor when Nick and Taya asked me to photograph their wedding, but when they asked me to take some newborn photos of sweet little Kinsley I was ecstatic! I love when I can come into a clients home and capture them in their comfortable place. There was so much love in the room and so much newness. I loved watching them gently pass their little back and forth, carefully change her outfits, and hold her close like their most precious porcelain doll. I was truly blessed to share this morning with them.
I love this family. I had the privilege of meeting them on their wedding day and celebrating with them as they started a family. So much in our lives has changed, but it's alway a fun day when we get to hang out together and catch up on each others lives. There is always plenty of laughter and lots of smiles. I look forward to updating their family photos for them every year!
